Over the seven week break Scott's goal was to get in shape for soccer tryouts. This meant running and or riding his bike to help his chances of making a team. This lasted for about a week then things slowed down and then stopped. By the time tryouts came along he was pretty nervous out making a team but to ease his fears the first thing they said at tryouts was that this is BYUI and everyone would make a team. So Scott made a team and is a proud member of the Vikings. He
was so sought after that he was almost trade to another team for a goalie but he got to stay in the end. He had his first game this last Saturday and was very excited. The game went really well until the second half and they ended up losing 3-1 but in their defence most of their players were out of town so they were very low on subs. He is can't wait for the rest of the season and hopes that this will be the year that he gets his Championship Winner shirt.
It is a good thing that you are not majoring in english and grammer. Maybe you should considering proof-reading though! Hmmmm....
ReplyDeleteIt's a good thing Mom is not majoring in english and grammar. She should however consider proofing her comments. Too funny!
ReplyDeleteGood job Scott! Isn't it kinda cold there for outdoor soccer?
Wow Mom, I had no idea you could be so harsh on my wife's grammer. I played a soccer game this past friday evening in 16 degree weather, so to answer your question Karen: yes.
