After much begging and pleading from family members, we have finally heard your cries and have posted wonderful pictures of Rachael and Carson. She is doing well, but is a bit swollen. Tomorrow we will be getting a crib which means we will have the essential needs to have a baby. The only thing we are lacking is a stroller, but if the baby takes after me at all it will be better to keep him indoors anyway. The doctor has decided that Saturday morning at 2 am is a good time to go into labor, but me and my brother-in-law, Jacob, have decided that August 3rd is a good day. However, either of those will be just fine with Rachael.Rachael has been experiencing what us experts in pregnancy and delivery call Braxton-Hicks contractions, not to be confused with Toni Braxton the phenomenal diva who sang such hits as "Unbreak my Heart". She's also experiencing a bit of Carpel Tunnel Syndrome which can be common among pregnant women and is now wearing a brace that helps with that issue.
School has finally ended for us and won't start for me again until the beginning of September which gives me a few weeks of "relaxation". So, this is just a little update of us and how Rachael is doing as we approach that great and dreadful day of labor. We will continue to keep you posted every few months ... ok maybe less than that but don't count on it.
What a lovely momma!
